For both indoor and outdoor applications needing high-quality sound, the Evid white is an incredibly small full range loudspeaker that is perfect. When used in background or foreground music systems for dining establishments, bars, patios, retail spaces, and other settings, its size and form make it almost undetectable.
With a coherent coverage waveguide in front of and between the 4″ low frequency drivers, the 4.2’s three-dimensional elliptic baffle symmetrically positions the 1″ Ti high frequency element. Coverage is controlled by the resultant line array thanks to the precise positioning, shape, and 10° splaying of the lf units.
To control lobing, the LF transducers are physically “shadowed” from one another throughout the spectrum where interference would typically occur. More targeting angles in both horizontal and vertical planes are available with the Evid 4.2 speakers mounting system than with other kinds. In addition to a concealed leash for safety, the curving grille has built-in weather protection.
